Hey Parents, I see you. I see you trying all you know and still feeling like you’re coming up short in getting your child the best support possible to be able to achieve all of their potential. I can help you!
Emily is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who believes in harnessing the power of all that has yet to be learned. Through an innovative, personalized direct-care model, she has helped families achieve meaningful progress without the barriers of traditional services.
As a neurodivergent BCBA, Emily approaches each family with deep understanding, acceptance, and a commitment to individualized support. She works directly with families – never through an RBT or BCaBA – ensuring expert guidance that meets children where they are and empowers parents with the tools they need.
With fair pricing, no insurance restrictions, and no red tape, Emily created Power of Yet Behavior Consulting to give families the support they deserve, when and how they need it.
A BCBA works directly with families in their homes or community, providing individualized behavior support strategies tailored to their child’s specific needs. Every session is led by a BCBA ensuring expert guidance without therapist scheduling conflicts, insurance restrictions, or company policies, so the families who need it most can access the support when and how they need it.
Virtual consultations provide families with expert, individualized support without the constraints of location, scheduling conflicts, or insurance barriers. As a BCBA who works directly with families, I offer flexible online sessions designed to meet your needs in real time, ensuring that you receive practical, actionable strategies tailored to your child and home environment.
Emily conducts engaging workshops and training sessions (both in-person and virtual) to equip parents, businesses, public servants, teachers, etc. with the knowledge and tools to support neurodivergent children effectively. These sessions focus on practical, neurodiversity-affirming strategies designed for real-life application.
Every family receives a customized action plan designed to address their child’s specific needs in a practical, manageable way. These plans are developed by a BCBA and include clear, step-by-step strategies that fit seamlessly into daily life. Resources may include visual supports, structured routines, social scripts, and individualized behavior strategies to help families navigate challenges with confidence. With ongoing guidance and adjustments as needed, these plans empower parents to create lasting, positive change without the restrictions of insurance or rigid service models.
Because Insurance doesn’t limit my ability to meet you where you need help most, I am able to help families navigate real-world challenges like doctor’s appointments, haircuts, and community outings, ensuring their child feels supported in every environment. Whether it’s preparing for a new experience, advocating for accommodations, or providing strategies to reduce stress, I work alongside families to make everyday situations more manageable and affirming.

“Thank you for reading into Z more than what was visible and filling me with knowledge”
It’s Incredible to think that a year ago we were told that Z may never feel empathy, have control of his impulsive behavior, and to expect major emotional/mood disturbances. This little boy is thriving now thanks to a whole lotta love, hard work, and intuition on your behalf. I am seriously indebted to you. You changed the outlook for his life, our families life, and the lives of those that Z will impact as he continues to thrive, learn, and grow.

“May you and your family be blessed abundantly”
Our son has transformed positively a lot in many ways under your guidance. He was very much not responsive in his behaviours/communication before working with you. Now, he is more confident than ever. He uses words now, tells us when it’s time for session, riding on scooter, trying piano as if he knows already and much more. We thank you for your dedication and personal commitment towards everyone.

“You are not afraid to try new things”
Even though it has only been 8 months since A started working with you I see that you really want A to achieve success. A looks forward to sessions every single day and he has made tremendous progress since knowing you. Thank you for listening to me and working toward a collective goal for A. Continue to do this for the future as well.

Traditional insurance coverage for behavioral services comes with numerous restrictions; such as requiring a formal diagnosis, limiting where and how services can be provided, and dictating what support is deemed “medically necessary”. These barriers often prevent families from getting the individualized help they truly need.
By operating outside of the insurance system, I can provide flexible, responsive support without the red tape. This means I can work with families in settings that insurance wouldn’t cover; like schools, religious spaces, or the community; and tailor my approach based on what actually works for your child and family, not just what’s reimbursable.
Additionally, insurance-driven services often rely on technicians rather than a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for direct support. With my model, every session is led by a BCBA’s ensuring expert guidance without scheduling conflicts, company policies, or restrictions getting in the way.
By keeping things simple, accessible, and transparent, I can prioritize what matters most: meaningful support for your family, when and how you need it.
While my approach shares some principles with Applied Behavior Analysis, such as using evidence-based strategies to encourage positive behaviors and responding, it is not strictly ABA. Traditional ABA often involves highly structured sessions with specific protocols. In contrast, I offer a more flexible, individualized approach that adapts to the unique needs and goals of each child and family. This allows for a broader range of techniques and settings, ensuring that the support provided is both effective and aligned with your family’s values and routines.
I hold a Bachelors Degree in Developmental Psychology along with a Masters Degree in Behavior Analysis and I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This certification, granted by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), requires rigorous education, supervised experience, and successful completion of a comprehensive examination. Additionally, I have 8 years of hands-on experience working with children and families, developing and implementing personalized behavioral interventions. My commitment to ongoing professional development ensures that I stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field, enabling me to offer effective and individualized support to each family I work with.
I am able to support families across the lifeaspan and have specific experience implementing tailored behavioral interventions for clients ages 1-62 years old.
I am committed to supporting families across all diagnoses and levels of need. Drawing from my extensive experience in the diverse Dallas-Fort Worth area, I have had the privilege of working with families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. This exposure has enriched my understanding and reinforced my dedication to cultural competence. I recognize that learning is an ongoing journey, and I am always eager to deepen my knowledge to better serve every member of our diverse community. Let me know, specifically, how I can support your families unique needs!
Getting started is a simple process:
Step 1: All families will request a completely free virtual consult that can be scheduled at your convenience with evening and weekend offerings. Upon requesting a consult you will be emailed an intake form with some developmental and demographic questions along with a space for you to tell me about your family. In the consult meeting we will discuss specific goals for your child and barriers that your family has experience in the past.
Step 2: Emily will review the intake documentation along with any notes from the initial consult meeting and (assuming the family wishes to request services) she will return service requests within 48 hours by email. This email will contain a few consent and liability forms along with an individualized link to book specific agreed upon services.
Step 3: Once you book your first session you will continue to use the same link to book services each time you wish in the future. Each time you book a session you should receive a text and email confirmation (you will also receive one additional confirmation text/email the day before your session). If you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason, this can be done directly through your individual family portal.
Step 4: An invoice and link to pay online with mobile pay, card, or banking account information will be emailed to you within 48 hours of your session. You can also access your invoices for insurance filings, HSA expense requests, or any other reason using the family portal.
